Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.

In November 2018, I worked with members of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie and local school music and instrumental teachers for 2 hours. We explored the possibility of being extremely free with creativity and trying to find the musical elements of tonality, pulse etc through free group creative improvisation. We started the process away from instruments and the need for tonal music. My intention for the group was to try and find the essence of a creative idea from within and keep our internal connection as we discover our composition.

 

I worked with music students of the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie for 2 hours, exploring the idea of being creative from a completely blank starting point, and the possibilities this technique would have for connecting with the idea of a group idea from within. One of the students phones became the starting point and the theme of change came up.
