Keats House Hampstead
Creativity, Sounds & Music
In our one hour workshop we will explore our imagination to create sound poems, inspired by the life of John Keats. Throughout his life Keats had to dare to share his poems, reflect on what the critics thought and then continue developing by being creative on a regular basis. John Keats wanted his poetry to express the very ‘now’ of life around us.

Through ‘imaginative play’ we will find our group ideas, look inside them, explore them and create. I will encourage us to be free with our creative mind, using any sounds we find to create our art. We will encourage sharing by recording and listening to our sound poems, which will be available to download at home.
The workshop will empower the whole family to continue exploring ideas at home and have a life of creativity, inspired by the life of John Keats.
